At Drummond Animal Hospital, we understand that veterinary care for pets can often be an unexpected expense. While we strive to offer quality veterinary medicine at the lowest price possible, due to rising costs of medications, equipment, and laboratory fees, we occasionally have to raise our prices in order to keep our hospital running smoothly and have little control over pricing. Please exhibit kindness and understanding to our staff.
Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service, and minimizing costs, we do not bill. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card. We understand that unexpected expenses can be stressful. If the above options do not work for you, there are other payment options you can obtain through our hospital. At this time, payment plans are not offered through our hospital so we can focus our staffing toward patient care, not billing.
Drummond Animal Hospital is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments. You can either apply at our hospital, where we'll call in your application over the phone for immediate approval, or apply yourself online at: www.CareCredit.com.
Highlights of the CareCredit program:
- Low Monthly Payments (3% of the Total Balance)
- Interest Free For 6 Months
- Determine Approval in a Few Minutes
- No Annual Fee
Insurance For Your Pets
Another popular option for your family and pet is insurance coverage. To learn more, please visit the following pet insurance websites:
Pet insurance is more similar to car insurance than it is human medical insurance. While all types of insurance are different, for most types of pet insurance, payment is rendered to the veterinary hospital and then the pet parents are reimbursed appropriately. Most plans cover pet emergencies and some cover wellness expenses as well. At Drummond Animal Hospital, we do our best to work with all kinds of pet insurance and do not endorse nor receive endorsement from any particular brand. Please research to find what coverage fits you and your pet best. For best results, start your pet on an insurance plan BEFORE they need emergency care or obtain any “pre-existing conditions”.
